Becoming a teacher is a tremendous and noble step towards helping others. By making the choice in finding a way to share your wisdom with others, you are developing the roots for a life of compassion and humility. As a teacher you take upon yourself the mighty role of a guide, and as such you withhold great responsibility to point people in the right direction. Life presents many choices from which one can make a decision, each moment offering a new opportunity for growth. Teachers play the unique role of guiding people through these daily moments, revealing the students to the hidden qualities which transform and create understanding in one’s life. At Tureya Insititute we give specific attention to those individuals who wish to become teachers for they are responsible for heeling both themselves and other. Yoga provides the best path for teachers because of its ability to account for the multiple layers of the human life. In addition to treating the physical body, yoga can also positively affect the emotional, psychological, and spiritual bodies, making perhaps one of the most dynamic traditional Indian practices. Our goal is to equip the teachers with a holistic perspective of human life so they can effectively help others. Teachers will learn the scope of the Indian Tradition. In doing so, they will be able to offer their students with a powerful, yet sustainable practice which they can carry with them throughout their lives.
